SJCC Library
The SJCC Library, located just inside the Kent Place
Boulevard entrance, houses an eclectic collection of
Jewish writing. The collection includes works on
philosophy, history, biography, Jewish cooking and travel,
fiction, Holocaust studies, and a variety of Judaic
literature, both traditional and modern. The library
subscribes to a number of Jewish periodicals including,
among others, The Jerusalem Post and Jerusalem Report,
The Jewish Daily Forward, Tikkun, and The Biblical
Archaeology Review.
Circulation of books is maintained on an honor system. It is the borrower's responsibility to sign and date the sign-out card found in the book to be borrowed. (You'll find the card in the inside back cover.) Books in the Reference Section are not allowed to circulate. (You can tell references books because their call letter is "A" and they don't contain
any card at the back.)
The library is open to all congregants and visitors
from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Thursday and from
9 AM to 2 PM on Friday.
