The Summit Jewish Community Center is an egalitarian, Conservative synagogue, located in the heart of Summit, New Jersey. For 80 years we have been a spiritual home for congregants who are drawn to our vibrant, inclusive Jewish community. Today the SJCC is a dynamic center of Jewish life for over 300 families from Summit and surrounding towns in Union, Morris, Essex and Somerset Counties.

Please take time to explore the website of our active community of Jewish families. In this section you’ll find our history; key members of our clergy, staff and lay leadership; a quick reference for events (Calendar); and how to find us in person (Directions) or online (Membership Inquiries).

You may want to explore our RESOURCES pages. There you'll find useful information about:

If you’re already one of our active members, here is the handy spot to check on who is scheduled for everything from bima announcements to Sunday office coverage to Shabbat ushering to kosher food pantry deliveries (For Our Members). Still not finding what you need? Check the list of Committee Chairpersons and please get in touch with us.
