Welcome to the Summit Jewish Community Center website. The SJCC is an egalitarian, Conservative synagogue, located in the heart of Summit, New Jersey. For 75 years we have been a spiritual home for congregants who are drawn to our vibrant, inclusive Jewish community.

Today the Summit Jewish Community Center is a dynamic center of Jewish life for over 325 families from Summit and surrounding towns in Union, Morris, Essex and Somerset Counties.

At the SJCC we focus on the wide interests of our community: We offer daily minyans as well as Sabbath and festival worship; a fully-accredited nursery school, religious school, post-graduate (high school) and adult education programs; social action and volunteer opportunities; and a range of social programs for all ages, including adults, teens and seniors.
